Anyone know of any "doggie pattern" sites? I need to make our new dog a "doggie diaper". I am looking for a pattern, if possible. Thanks! |

When I was looking for a hat pattern for my GD I searched under animal hat pattern (as I wanted a hat with an animal feature) and got lots of sites for dog/cat patterns

Anyone know of any "doggie pattern" sites? I need to make our new dog a "doggie diaper". I am looking for a pattern, if possible. Thanks! Did you get a male or female dog? I have Chinese Cresteds and my boys have a tendency to lift their legs to mark when my girls are in season. I make belly bands for them. These are small dogs....anywhere from 7 1/2 lbs to 15 lbs. I can make 2 belly bands out of 1 hand towel. I cut the towel lengthwise into 2 pieces. I sew the ends under. I then sew velcro (2 inches long) on the 2 ends. The velcro closes on top of their backs. Each time they wear one I put a sanitary napkin in the belly band so that if they lift their legs the urine goes into the napkin...easy to clean...usually the belly band doesn't get any urine on it. Does this help? I know that there are panties that you can buy for girls for when they are in season but I don't have a pattern for them. Barb |
