Very Cute! What pattern did you use if you don't mind my asking. My granddaughter has her 2nd birthday coming up soon-I might have to "borrow" your idea. So cute!!

I just used a pattern I had around NewLook 6360 and made it into a top instead of a dress and of course added the rick rack & ribbons.

I used NewLook 6767 for the bloomers.

Thanks for the info! Such a cute outfit! I'm going to have to make one...think I have a pattern that is similar and could be adapted.

How did you attach the cake, did you do satin stiches around it?

Hi , I am novice sewer, I am wondering how you did the cake design? Did you load it to your machine with a card or did you attach your machine to the computer and download it to your machine that way. I just purchased the brother se-270 and no nothing about embroidering and my machine came w/o a manual. I was just wondering if you can help. thanks so much.

It depends on how your machine takes designs. Mine uses a memory card. So I downloaded the design, copied it on to my memory card, put the memory card into the embroidery machine and open it up from there.

Bows - are they buttons or snaps - it looks like they might just be for decoration...but I can't tell. That is super cute!!! I especially like the "sunny" color.

Hi, Can you give me the kind and brand of the memory card you use. I am not too savvy when it comes to these things. Do you have some kind of design pe system? Or did you just buy any kind of memory card like the ones you put in a camera. I may have a similar machine to yours, but since mine does not have a manual I have to wing it. Thanks so much.

I have the Janome 300E and mine takes a card like a camera. But if it takes a specific card you can use something like amazing box or magic box to get them to the cards & then to your machine.

The shoulders are buttons. I just pin the bows on so they can be taken off for washing if you wanted.
