This coming fall, we will have a quilt challenge. Just to let you all know, everyone from beginners on to the pros can enter this one. It can be as simple or technical as you wish. Not a full sized quilt or any specific knowledge is needed. That's all for now.

This is just a heads up. More information will come later. You will all have loads of time to join in and design/sew/quilt for this fun challenge.

I was looking towards summer starting soon here in Wisconsin but if it means having to wait for info on the quilt challenge I am willing to skip right to Fall. Don't leave us guessing tooo long Mary. You know how impatient us quilters are.

H_M_M_M_M_M_M Don't quite understand what the swap will be but I do KNOW however some of these ladies. Been in a swap with them before and you are a great binch to do things with, so YES Count me in Mary~ ~ One of the best gifts to give a child/grandchild is your listening ear.

OK'nana...Mary will be having a Quilt Challenge not a swap in the fall. We'll have to wait to find out the details but it sounds like we will have to make a "quilt" of some kind --- who knows... it could even be a wall hanging? Gonna be a long wait!

oooooooo I wanna play! Do we get a theme or something do you suppose?Will it be like dance lessons when you are little ( everybody be a tree to the music) How about we have to convey an emotion - that'd be tricky unless cackhanded is an emotion...

Hm Mary has my full attention. Let's see, it's June and fall is when, September or October? This is a real tease  Might have patience for that long  or might not. Can we get some supplies ready or something? Maybe look for some fabric or a pattern or what ever. |
