Hey Everyone,

Thanks for the warm welcome! The PR-600 is an embroiderer's dream  I've had it about 6 months and haven't had any problems at all. No broken needles; no birdnests; no "off the mark" patterns.

My BabyLock is wonderful too but...I hate to say it...when you sew the same design on both machines...there is no comparison to the quality. The Babylock is good, but not great; it's better as a sewing machine. So, I've begun using it for special sewing. Decorative stitches etc., on finished designs; it really adds that extra pow! If and when you ever decide to buy one; shop. We went several places and had prices ranging from more than $2,000 different from place to place. We finally got the whole shabang, 2 sets of hoops, beginners package with stablizers, bobbins, grids, the machine, 4 rolls of primary color thread 4,000 yds each and the table for just $7,200.00. I felt it was a great price and it raised the quality of my finished work to a professional looking level.

My cat's back from thyroid surgery...has a cone on his head; keeps running into the walls - it's hysterical:bg:

Anyway, thanks again for the heys! I'm going to see what happnin' in the rest of the forums!

Bye!
Deb

deb... can I ask what dealer you went through to get a great price on your pr-600? I've been debating it... but my local dealer is asking quite a price...
