Well actually two questions:

1. Do you prewash fabrics?

2. How precise do the measurements need to be? My board goes to 18" so it'll be a little off as I shift it around to get the right measurement.

Oh, and one other, do I get enough of a fabric for everyone to have the same one, or several different fabrics? If it's several different fabrics, then I might have enough already (depending on how many are in it of course).

Hi Ticia, Let's see if I can answer your questions for you........

1. Wash or unwashed-your choice, just make sure you put a note with the FQ so we know what it is........mine tend to be washed because if I buy yardage I automatically wash it so it's ready to go but if I'm just buying fat quarters they often go out unwashed.

2. Approximately 18 x 22-close is good enough-they don't stay that size when you wash them anyway.

3.All the same or different-doesn't matter as along as it matches what the criteria is, example: flowers-send blue, green, pink or all blue, etc.

One other thing, be sure to keep a FQ for yourself so you have a whole set in case you want to do something special with them. For example, I put all my blues away together so I can make a jacket and made sure I kept one of my own fabric pieces to go along with it.

Most of all, have fun!!! That's what it's all about.

Great! It'll be fun to have you join. In the few I've done there seems to be about 8 people each time altho sometimes less and sometimes more. I've gotten to the point where if I see something in the category coming up I buy a couple yards and then go back for more of the same (or different) if I have to.

How are the boys doing?
