I made these up yesterday. Once I got the fitting adjusted they are a breeze. I love them. They have a nice look and have an elastic waist. You would never guess it by the appearance. http://www.textilestudiopatterns.com/patterns/index-pants.html#null Has anyone else tried these? MaryW

It was a light, flowy polyester. Black to go with everything. I want to make a top to go with it now. They feel super and look nice. The leg is perfect for me which is unusual. I like a slim leg.

I like the pattern so it will have to go on my to do list. I'll vee to make it a point to make time to sew "for myself" very soon. |

Everyone should do themselves the favor of sewing a pair of these. They compliment your figure.

They look like a nice pair of pants. Did you have to do any alterations? I have the clown butt thing going on in most patterns I have just about got a burda pair sorted but I really like the style of this pattern - Mary you are a wicked influence on a helpless fabraholic and pattern collector |

Yes, I modified the darts, there are four in the front and two in the back. What I did was on a muslin, sew darts last after the elastic. I kept changing until it was what I wanted. As long as you have enuff elastic to go over your hips, you don't need the zipper. With the darts you get rid of all the extra fabric. It takes a bit of tinkering but you will love the finished look. Just use some old ugly stuff to make your muslin.
