Hi, I need to find out if anyone has a source for, or even has this pattern? It's a New Look and the number is 6073. I bought this pattern about three years ago and it was one of the first things I made my daughter. Now it's not available anymore. Well back then, she needed a size 3, so I cut out the pattern to a size 3. Now, I need a size 5, duh! Does anyone know where I could find retired patterns or maybe even explain how I could resize it. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!! |

Is size 3 the smallest size the pattern came in? If there's a size 2 on your pattern, then you could measure the differences and add that onto some tracing paper to make a larger one. You'll have to catch onto some tricks with the curves for armholes and inseams, but if you have a smaller one to compare to you should be able to pick up on some trends and go with them. Your first attempt will be a bit of a test run, so be prepared to make some adjustments. But...you can do it!
