I just received information about a lady in Maple Grove, MN that has been teaching knitting and crocheting to special needs kids and young adults. This lady (Pamela Reinert) has her crown waiting.

The reason for this post: She needs supplies; yarn, needles, hooks for her "Chain Gang" (a name picked by the students)

I have a rather large box of yarn, various amounts, colors and different weights. Pamela said they can use anything. They are also having a raffle, so would appreciate anything they can put in the raffle. I can't think of a better reason to box up and send this extra yarn (most of it I have had for3 or more years). Plus I have a rather large afghan I made out of left over yarn. My husband and are beginning to "downsize" getting ready to move into our RV and travel full time. I have two afghans for the rig, and don't need additional, so am sending this to her for the raffle. It will look really good in someones den or better yet, a mountain cottage!!

If you want the address to send any "extras" you may have:

I got this info from Carol Alexanders newsletter.

Thanks for posting that. Looks like that lady is really an angel in disguise.
