I've seen people talking about a 1/4" foot. Is that a presser foot that measures exactly 1/4" from center to one side ? Just wondering because I topstitch a lot and a foot like that would be very handy. Thanks http://members.aol.com/_ht_a/juneharlow/images/dance.gif June ~

June the 1/4" foot is primarily used by quilters for sewing 1/4" seams on quilt pieces. Patsy Patsy

Hi June, You might find your regular presser foot is 1/4 inch from the center to the edge, I have several machings and the zigzag foot that came with my Bernina and my Kenmore are 1/4. I bought a Little Foot for my Singer Featherweight to help with peicing quilts. Teri Teri
