Let's start a discussion on denim. Almost everyone loves denim. It can be as casual or chic as you like. It wears like iron and comes with either lycra or spandex woven in as well.

What are your experiences with denim? Have you made jeans?

I've made jeans. The best fit I ever found was from a Kwik Sew pattern and the bonus with them is, their instructions are always very clear.

It may not apply to the denim that has lycra in it, but the safest way to deal with potential shrinking is to wash and dry the denim at least twice before cutting it. Grainlines are very important so that the legs don't twist.

Just my two cents worth.
