I am looking for a place to get decent snap tape. I bought some that are little white plastic snaps in groups of three on a stiff very easily fraying ribbon strip, and some that are on a cotton twill tape which I got at a 2nd hand store and I really like them. I have only found the little white plastic ones and ones that are on a wide satin strip which I don't want either. I also have a supply of the ones you hammer in, but I'd like more of the metal snaps on the cotton twill tape.

Wonderful stuff! There are times when I can only get the plastic snaps on the tape but I prefer the metal. I usually find it by the yard at Hancocks. It does seem to move around (our) stores. Sometimes it is in the Notions area near the buttons and velcro or moved down with other closures. Sometimes it is back in the drapery area with cording.

My Joann's has the metal snaps on twill tape by the yard and on the notions wall in prepackaged lengths. You can also look in the drapery department and find the same thing on beige twill tape cheaper. Go figure. Walmart even carries it now prepackaged and by the yard.

I found some on Ebay for a very reasonable price. Now to see what its like when I get it. I think I do more shopping on Ebay than anywhere lately.
