guess who came to salem, mass? tabitha, dr. bombay and louise tate from bewitched. tv land donated a statue of elizabeth montgomery to the city of salem and they had an unveiling and invited those characters that were still around to come. i actually talked to tabitha. she has six boys and she looks so much like she did when she was a kid. i got all their autographs. someone asked dr. bombay about mrs. kravetz and he said, oh she passed on years ago and someone piped from the back, 'no she didn't, she lives across the street from me'; i was thinking the same thing. everyone has a mrs. kravetz in their neighborhood. :bg:

"Calling Doctor Bombay, come right away!" LOL I loved that show, a true '60's classic. They never did show what type of sewing machine Samantha used though (a spinning wheel, I'll bet) :)

That was my favorite show as a kid, but I never did understand why Samantha let Darrin boss her around like that. My kids say the same thing when we watch the re-runs. Maybe that's why I loved Endora so much. She didn't care much for Dagwood.... I mean Darwin.... I mean Darrin.
I'm looking forward to the Movie coming out this month. :bluesmile

I would have loved to meet Dr. Bombay. I always loved Uncle Aurther and Aunt Clara too!

Hahaha.... That was my favorite show too!! I always secretly hoped that Samantha would turn Ol'e Stick in the mud Derwood  into a stick in the mud...hahaha I mean really now, what was wrong with that picture... clearly she had power, he should have gone *poof*

I saw a picture of all of them with the statue. I could not believe that Dr. Bombay still looked the same!
I soooo cannot wait for the movie.

Oh gosh I'd forgotten about Paul Lynde...he was my dad's favorite....what a funny man. I remember wanting so badly to be in Samantha's family.

I finally got to see the "Bewitched" movie. It wasn't quite what I expected, and it reminded me of those silly 60's Doris Day - Rock Hudson type of movies.

However, Nicole Kidman does get to wear a lot of great, stylish outfits in the film. It looks like those very full 1950's below-the-knee skirts are coming back into style, along with close fitting tops and light sweaters. I suppose if you wait long enough everything goes full circle.

The film gave me a lot of ideas for things that could be easily duplicated for everyday wear. I'm busy working on Butterick 4025 (the knee length skirt) (http://store.sewingtoday.com/cgi-bin/butterick/shop.cgi?s.item.B4025=x&TI='4025'&page=1) that way I'll be right in style, except for the broomstick, I think I'll skip that !
