I'm looking to purchase these designs in a multiformat cd. I have a viking and can't use them as a card. OESD makes these designs, and they're no longer making this cd. I recently came across them, and thought they're gorgeous. Anyone willing to sell a design, or know where I can find them?

thanks so much

Ok, here is the deal: As far as I know, the cd's were available only in Bernina's ART format. There have in past been a lot of bad feelings among people who used ART cards because on any CD there were more designs (because of available space) and the cards were more expensive. The only guaranteed way that the cd's could be used was in the card reader for the 200E...so if you wanted all the designs, you needed a 200.

In response, recently, OESD has decided to make ALL their designs available in multi formated cd's and they have offered a trade in program for CARDS and CD's made after a certain point. I'm not sure (Adobe locks up my computer), but it is possible that the Felines' CD is on that exchange program because I don't think the card is all that old. Check at Embroideryonline.com. The exchange was supposed to end on June 30 but has now been extended until Dec 31. If the card is listed, cards AND CD's that are ART format can be exchanged for the multi-formated disk for $20. If your cd is on that list, at least you'll have more latitude about finding your designs. You might be able to find the designs as close-outs at a dealer, but I don't know that I've seen that particular card (it was popular..the popular ones usually sell out.)

I did not buy it...I'm not a real cat fanatic. However, the Jungle Songs had some wonderful cats on it along with great wild animals and it is a more recent CD. I know that it IS on the exchange list because I exchanged my ART cd for a multi-format. I don't think that it is discontinued and if not, it can be ordered though any Bernina dealer and maybe OESD too (I've never ordered a cd from them, only individual design and packs). There is also a great new Laurel Burch CD with lovely butterflies...... (fyi).

I have the Laurel Burch Cat card (pes for my Bernina Deco). Could it be reformatted into a CD for your machine ? I don't have any software so I have no idea if this is possible.

There is a freebie from the feline set available on the Bernina France site. You do have to register, but they have some nice designs.

Trading, sharing, or selling of designs is a violation of copyright.

I would contact OESD for the home embroidery and see if they have them for download like the Jungle songs that I got.

I know that it has been a while since you posted this and you've probably changed your mind, found it, or given up BUT I found a legit place to get your multi format CD today.

Many if not most Bernina shops are putting in something called Embroidery Take out. It is a very expensive investment so many shops are a little slow doing it. Most, if not all of OESD's design packs which sell for $69.99 on line sell for $49.99 are there and they put them on multi format CD with instructions and a color sheet in plastic pack. In addition to OESD's designs, there are some custom design packs made just for the Embroidery Take out AND there are some discontinued Studio and Licensed designs. The licensed designs on multi-format CD are 69.99 but it is still much cheaper than they were originally. Fantastic Felines is in this group along with many other "good" CD's like Current Santas, Tassels and Trims I, II, III and some others. They are going to continue to add to this program so you might want to check with your local Bernina Dealer from time to time.
