This was another suggestion from one of our members.
What color is your hair? Natural or have some help? Long, medium or short.
Curly, wavy, straight as an arrow. Do you spend a lot of time on it to get it to look right, or is it a wash and go style?
Okay some of that I added myself.

My hair is red. It used to be natural but now.....well. It is short, about an inch-and-a-half on top and sticks up on top but lays flat on the sides and back. I wash it and let it dry, spray it with hairspray and run my fingers through it so it sticks up in the right places.

I'm a natural dark brunette (some people say it's black, but -I- know it's not)
It's kept layered from just about my ears and I let it grow out to my shoulders, sometimes...it's naturally curly/wavy, it's not really curly and it's not really wavy either. For many yrs I kept it to my waist (my sister wore her hair to her knees for about 20 yrs...finally cut it and gave 3 ft of it away)
I come from a famliy of women who have HEAVY hair, but it's always soft...
If I'd let it go, one side of my head would have white hair and the other drk brn...so Clairol helps me keep it all brunette. :bg: It's wash and try and blow dry straight, but it curls in the humidity down here.
I guess I'm not comfortable or too vain about my hair to let it go white (it's not gray) quite yet....

Mine is shoulder length, a light blonde/gray with the help of Sally Beauty Supply!!!! My natural color is blonde, but now is almost all gray. I just wash and go, it has some curl to the underside. 90% of the time it is up in an clippy to try and stay cool, as I have very thick hair.

Naturally grey in front, brown and grey in back. Have a bit of natural curl, and wear it short in a wash and go style.

My hair is natural grey now. Right now is about to the middle of my upper back. I have wash and wear and it is usually up in some kind of clip or pony. It has a nice gentle wave to it. I have what everyone would call baby hair, doesn't really hold a curl to it.

My hair was platinum blonde when I was little, darkened up over the years and is now blonde again-light enough (or gray enough these days) that the gray doesn't show-looks like highlights. Has natural curl but is more a wave as it grows longer. About shoulder lenghth at this time, but has been down to my waist as well as very very short. And has been a miriad of colors over the years! Wash and go is the only way for me-I hate fussing with my hair-didn't use to be a problem but then I'm not 18 anymore. How I wear my hair depends on the season-usually up during the summer hot months & down during the winter.

My hair is white mixed with a little grey in the back, very fine and thining a little. It is lightly naturally curly but for some reason this winter and now it isn't! It is very short as in 65 years I have never really learned how to 'deal' with it. I was born bald, as were my children who now have masses of tight curly hair, and grew to a towhead at about 3 years of age, then sandy and then reddish then ashy in my 30's. When I could afford it after graduating from U., I kept it streaked (was naturally streaked) for 25 years until my hair dresser said I really didn't need to waste my money any more. Essentially I streaked it to give my hair some body. For awhile in the 60-70s I did set it in big rollers and it was a longer short. I went to the wash and wear look as a new look when I divorced 18 years ago and haven't look back! :re:

This month I am chocolate brown at the back and sides with red and carmel streaks.(Thanks to Rene at Amethyst) I have no idea what color my hair is naturally anymore, I've been coloring it since I was 18. I think its a medium brown, it does have a lot of grey in it, but I just can't seem to let it go natural. In the past I have leaned towards the reddish blonde but have been getting darker and darker in the past months. I really like the dark chocolate brown color now. I wear it short as I ride motorcycle and I get helmet hair. If I put 'mud' or sculpting stuff into it then I can at least look somewhat decent after riding for a few hours. I tend not to do much to it but wash and sometimes blow dry, or put in the sculpting stuff.

I am a light brown (#511) out the Wella Bottle from Sally's Beauty Supply, I was a natural med brown, kind of mousy brown with dark blonde highlights when I was in my 20's (my natural color), then I started to become salt and pepper in my 30's and then more gray in my 40's and now that I'm 50 I'm totally white with a pink scalp under the color. My hair is thick, but baby fine and has a little natural curl, but I think that's because my Mom use to make me get perms when I was young, yuck!! My hair is short on the sides with just the bottom of the ear lobe exposed and in the back it's even with the bottom of my ears. I don't like a real short hairdo but I look like a hag when it gets long and limp. They call my cut a short bob.
I'm regressing back into my youth, I just have to figure out how I'm going to convience my body to come along with me.

Why is it that gorgeous hair colour is wasted on guys? My DH and oldest son have the most beautiful auburn hair. I would kill for that natural colour! My hair is a medium brown with a little grey at the temples (when I let it grow out like now, that is lol) I found a hair colour that closely matches DH's so have been using that occassionally over the years. My hair is almost to my butt....same length it was in H.S. soooooooo many years ago. In fact, when I went to my 25th H.S. reunion, that was the main way that ppl recognized me...my hair was still the same length.

My natural color is very dark brown ... now covered with a little grey. All this is hidden under light auburn soon to change to dark auburn. My hair is also naturally straight and thick. Did I mention it has a head of its own???? The right side curls to the outside and the left side to the inside no matter how and how hot I blow dry it so I just let it be. I've learned to choose my battles.

I can barely remember what my natural color was. I started turning grey at 24 and have been coloring ever since. Right now I am a 114A thanks to Clairol. I used to do a red color but since I am soooo grey everything was turing orange and I thought I would leave the 'different' colors to my 15 year old DD. I have a short haircut so I don't have to fuss with it. Wash it, fluff it and let air dry. During the summer months it is even shorter because I too ride motorcycle and don't care to deal with the helmet head look.

Hey Grandma Sue! Nice to know there is another motorcycle babe out there~!! Do you have your own ride, or do you ride behind?? I haven't been on mine this year as I had surgery on my clutch hand, but may get back on in August. I ride a Suzuki Intruder 800, DH has a Yamaha Virago 1100. Son in law, an old Suzuki 750.

My hair is dark brown. Some have called it black before, but -I- too know it is not. :bluewink: When I stand next to someone with true black hair, there's a big difference. It also tends to lighten a little in the summer.
I have several gray strands creeping in, it's very thick, and straight. I've worn it in a layered chin length bob for while. My kids keep begging me to get a new style and to cover my gray. Hubby wants me to leave it.
I rarely spend more than 5 minutes a day on my hair. Being a former hairdresser you'd think I'd do more with it, but I have more important things to do now. (Like quilting and getting on the computer  )

Don't have a clue what my hair color is............it has been so long since I have seen the real thing.................LOL. It is white on the sides but still dark on the top and back. I had very dark brown hair when it was natural and it was very thick. Has thinned some from a thyroid condition and years of coloring it.

I wear it in a bob that is between my ear and my neck. I have "waves" that I try very hard to get rid of.............my dad's family had natural curly hair but only one of us three girls got enough of it to matter. Mine just causes problems because it give it a mind of it's own.

I was wishing I had never started to color it until last week when I saw a friend that I graduated from High School with forty years ago. Her hair was its natural color and I think it aged her a lot..............so I will keep my monthly date with my box of Excellance, usually in a dark blond or light brown shade.

"Only my husband knows for sure" He's my hairdresser. I think several of us have Bob's. Is that because we are from the 60's and 70's era maybe? LOL I love the Dorothy Hamill cut, it's so clean looking.

Fake blonde, but at least it covers the grey. Medium length, straight as a board with a slight flip. I've often wondered what I"d look like with a buzz cut, but I know the people at work would think I've finally gone over the deep edge :bg:
