hey all. (nice to meet you all i am sure :bg: ) i havent used my sewing machine in a while and i cannot figure out how to make it do a zig zag stitch. (i am trying to outline a patch with a tight zigzag stitch)
i have a singer 5050. if anyone can help, please do. i feel like such a doof. :re:

Change your width (for zig-zag) and change your stitches per inch for close zig-zag. Say if you have your lenght set for 10 per stitch right now if you set your machine for 12-14 stitches per inch you will get the idea. There is a dial for each setting on my machine, but you should have dials or levers or something to change for your settings.
