Happy 4th everyone! Went to the lake yesterday and watched fireworks after a day of sun & fun. Will probably go to my son's tonight and we'll watch fireworks from the roof. Enjoy everyone!

...hang on ...doesn't this celebrate the loss of one of our colonies?..... I am supposed to celebrate! have fun chaps and chapesses - I think blowing up a comet is going a leetle bit far in the fireworks stakes..... love and kisses, Jan

You know that is so funny because when they annouced last night on our tv that the 4th of July was the day we declared our independance from England I thought of you Jan. Silly me that I didn't think of that sooner see how my feeble mind works. Just didn't think that the 4th of July was anything except company company company. This the first year in 9 years I didn't have company for the 4th. They usually come several days before and leave several days afterwards but this year they didn't come. When I say company last year we had over 30 people between my sons and my house. Not including my husband, me and my son and his wife and kids if you add them we had close to 40 people in two houses. WoW!!! I missed out on all that cooking and cleaning this year RATSSSSS. Instead I was able to take a ride in the country, went out to eat three times over the course of 3 days, lounged around doing nothing. Happy 4th all you Sister Americans. I'm regressing back into my youth, I just have to figure out how I'm going to convience my body to come along with me.
