I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, but here goes: I've been promising my husband for a number of years (way too many to count) that I would make him a football quilt. With football season and cold weather coming up, I'd like to get started. I already made the pattern. Here's my issue. I don't have all of the team fabric, and in order to get all of them, I have to order it from Hancocks (I think) online and get a minimum cut of 1 yard - well, I only need a quarter yard at the most. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to swap fabric with me, or some other arrangement, if they either have the fabric, or see it at their local store. I know that our Wal-Mart carries our local team and the more "popular" teams, but not all of them. Any help would be much appreciated. Michelle

If you go to this link just type in football in the search box, then thumbnails and it will bring up pages of fabric. Many of the stores do fat quarter bundles. http://www.quiltshops.com/search.htm |

WOOOHOOO . Thank you so much joannequilts - through the website that you recommended I have already ordered all the additional fabric that I needed. And they let me order only a 1/4 of a yard! I am so thrilled! It's only about $20 rather than $80 that I was going to have to spend to get one whole yard of each fabric, when all I needed was a 6 1/2 by 8 1/2 piece. I'm very excited. Thank you so much! Michelle

hancock fabric on their internet site has fleece and cotton fabric for most of the football teams-at a resonable price too. |
