I hosted a Mexican brunch / pool party for my momma friends today. So it gave husband and I an excuse to really clean the house. Last night while he shampooed the rugs I made these for my tiny kitchen:

I loooooooved the seafoam-green 50's Japanese motif fabric the second I saw it!

Now those are cute. I really like the 50's look too, but my house is now in Mediterranean style and it just doesn't work, my last house was a little house built in the 50's and I had a blast with finding old curtains from the 50's and remaking them into pillows, or new curtains, or table cloths. Smart cookie you are!

Francios - I am not going to put my curtains on my tutorials page b/c I am not good at making curtains AT all. I am intimidated by home dec projects!

I am currently working on a tuturial to take a child's romper pattern and make it into a dinosaur costume! I'll post a link when I'm done.

The same for me. I am a wizzard in clothes, but don not ask me to sew curtains, If you do, you will have anything except straight ones. :bg:
