What are those straps called that allow you to shorten sleeves and/or pants? They are sometime on cargo pants, sewn to the inside and used to gather the arm or leg, and button on the outside. The closest thing I can think of is epaulets, but I don't think that's right (those go on the shoulder).

Anyone?

I have never seen them named, in all my reading... I am an avid reader.. I will look on my patterns that have that feature and see what they say.. :bg:

The last things I sewed that had something like that, the pattern just called them tabs.
