I have made cloth diapers for my daughter but now she wants a diaper cover (like 'kushies diaper wraps') I have some waterproof fabric with a nylon top (like you'd use for a windbreaker or light jacket) which I figured may work, but I am wondering if I should make them so the nylon surface is against the diaper, the waterproof facing outwards, and then put a cotton cover on them. Or do I do them with the waterproof lining inside against the diaper and just sew the elastic on around the legs, leaving the nylon surface on the outside???? I'm not really sure why I thought of the first idea, I guess I was thinking it would be easier on the skin as I could put the elastic in between the fabrics so it wouldn't rub on baby's skin. Hopefully I am making myself clear. Any ideas out there??

I would put sew first a layer of absorbing material to the wrapper and well to the waterrepellent side. So that the fluids will stay inside the diaper
With kind regards,

Jen and Francois: Great site, thanks so very much. I have one finished already and 5 more underway. They're so stinking cute ( :whacky: - I just had to say that) .
