J & R Electroincs in NY has the small 64 mb flash cards for sale $9.99 each.
(shipping is about $5. UPS ground) It's had to find these things and if you have a Janome, you use'em all the time. (Sandisk)

Chrys, I had no idea anyone had a hard time finding the San Disk compactflash cards. Here in Naples they are at a number of places. Target, Camera stores, Best Buy, Office Depot & maybe other places. You can also get them from Janome plus some dealers sell them or at least can get them for you from Janome. I watch for the sales. Also use them , the higher MB for back ups of my designs. Do you think I should let people know whe I see a sale on them ? Or what about looking on the enternet at some of these stores so they can order some ? I always try to have a spare on hand for more backups. Can't use them in the machine but can put them back on the computer when I want something on the larger one & then put it on a smaller card.

Up here in the panhandle we have almost NO way of getting the smaller cards for our machines. Office Depot et al, don't handle the small ones anymore. (forget about the fabric/sewing shops I have YET (after 10 yrs) to find one IN a sewing/fabric shop.

Besides I thought $9.99 WAS a sale....they used to go for $30.

Yes,$9.99 is a sale for that mb's. Sorry if you thought I meant otherwise. I was just shocked that they are so hard to find elsewhere. I do know sometimes they are harder to find in small towns. When I take my machine up to the small town in MO. to make things the family there want I have to be sure I have everything I need as there is no placeto get even good thread. or certain fabrics. Wal-Mart is " the store ". There isn't even a sewing machine store there anymore. 70 miles is a little far to drive for some items.
