I am going to think out loud here and I would like you all to tell me what you honestly think.

I was thinking of starting a small newsletter about sewing with a Canadian perspective. As you know if you are :Canada: there are limited online Canadian resources. Maybe limited is the wrong word. Maybe I should say unknown Canadian resources for those who prefer to deal within their own country.

One newsletter a week with a mention of a Canadian resource for something sewing related and a small discussion on sewing issues. It will be short and to the point. We can discuss anything from embroidery machines to hand sewing. Any comments?

Mary, it is a wonderful idea. You have people discussing with from East to West so I think that's quite a reference right from the start.

I also think it is a great idea, Mary. I do order from US but calculating exchange and fees is a pain in the neck. There are lots like me on this list who are away from large cities that are looking for simpler ways to get materials. Go for it. I don't know where you get your energy to do what you do. Thank you for the newletter and lists so far!!

Mary - when do you find time to sew with all these great ideas you come up with?? I like your idea of a Canadian newsletter as well. I tend to purchase more from the US because there is so much more variety and it's not as costly. It's relatively easy for me to buy US as I live 4 miles from the US border and can scoot across to Sumas WA and pick up stuff that is shipped there. But I certainly would support Canadian businesses and would love to know where they are!!
