I'm so frustrated today, nothing I do works out. I made a curtain for a small window in the living room, put it up and the stupid thing is crooked, then I decided to finish ripping out a top to remake the fit and I put the scissors through the fabric. I can't find one of the straps from the top now. I dropped my rotary cutters and gouged my tile PLUS the new blade. My sewing room was neat this morning, as I cleaned the house and now its a mess again. I need to get at these diaper covers and finish off some other stuff so I can get at my granddaughters coat for her birthday in two weeks and I just realized my teeth are clenched so tight I'm giving myself a headache. We are getting company for the weekend, a couple we love but they have three very roudy noisy kids and I'm not looking forward to the visit. Ok, now I've grouched for a bit, I will go back and keep working at it. I think I feel better - where are those aspirin????

Laura, take a deep breath. Now, close the sewing room door and forget about the coat for a couple of days. Get yourself a nice cup of coffee/tea or whatever and put your feet up. Calm yourself down and enjoy your company when they come. The kids will be fine. Your sewing room/projects/mess will be there come Monday morning.
