Hi everyone,
I'm a new member. Wondering if any of you are sewing instructors?
I teach mostly Kids Sewing and Quilting, but also some adult classes.
Do you sell your sewn items? I have been considering doing that as a new income source.
I homeschool my two younger children (17 and 14). My older daughter just graduated from college.
I look forward to learning and sharing with all of you.

Hi, Kim! Welcome! You will enjoy it here.

I used to teach beginning sewing out of my home. The only reason I stopped teaching is because I've been caring for elderly parents the past few years. I would love to start teaching again because I really enjoyed it. In my case, I taught adults and had my own system of teaching that was successful. My youngest daughter is going off to college this year and even though I still have to care for my mom a bit, I also need a source of income and have thought about selling, as well as teaching, but these are just plans for now.
