Hi, It has only been 35 yrs since my last sewing lesson. I bought a used Brother Opus 1351 at a yard sale. It appears to be in fine shape but it had no manual. Does any body have any knowledge on this dinosaur? I went online but had no luck. I think it's extinct.Any info would be greatly apprectiated.
Thanks in advance! Elissa

Welcome Elissa. I found a manual for an obsolete serger that even my local sewing store had no idea what it was by searching for 'riccar sewing manual'. It came up with a web site that had manuals of all sorts of sewing machines that you could download and/or purchase. Otherwise have you tried contacting Brother and asking if you can get one from them??

Elissa, I could not find this particular model, but there are Brother manuals at this website. Perhaps you could look at each one and see if you can find one with a similar design.

SewUSA (http://www.sewusa.com/Sewing_Machine_Manuals/Brother_Sewing_Machines.htm)

they also have threading diagrams for some models. I have been able to find both for a couple of friends who had lost their manuals, so I hope it will help you.
