I would like to know if anyone has a pattern for a flower called the "King Protea" which is the state flower for South Africa (or at least Capetown)?

Mary, I found a cross-stitch pattern http://www.goldenkite.com/gkproducts/detail/829.htm Maybe you can design one yourself from the many photos on the web. I checked my Carol Doak's books on paper-pieicng, and although she never refers to the flower blocks with particular names, i'm sure one of them can be adapted as the 'king protea'. I have a South-African family. So I'm curious as to why you are interested in this speicfic flower. Adva Price
