Your local Singer dealer can get the book for you. They are not very expensive and are copy righted. If you don't have a dealer near you you can find a dealers website and order it,
Have fun or don't do it, Tom

Does anyone know if there is a Singer repair service that repairs, or supplies parts for a Singer Touchtronic 2000 sewing machine? It was given to me by someone who had never used it; but it seems that someone else had and the machine no longer works. I took it to the local singer repair shop and was told that a plastic component had been broken. I could not however get the part number or anything else from them. I do not have a manual either, perhaps if I can also source one it may help.

My dear Chrysantha, thank you soooo much for those sites; I already visited and saw what I needed. I'll first order the manual then go on from there.
Before I had joined this forum I had tried to source information that would help me to resolve this problem but was unsuccessful; I have already learnt so much from being a member of this group. Thanks to you all.
Leila.
