Hi, I am looking for Ultra Violet Resistant bonded polyester thread for sewing outdoor upholstry and boat covers, etc. I need colours such as red, navy, black, white, yellow, etc. Could anyone recommend a good thread and where I can buy it in Canada? Thanks! |

Don't know if this helps but one of the local sewing companies here who specialize in marine fabrics suggested a nylon upholstery thread, but it doesn't come in alot of colors and is $3.15 per spool 150 yds per spool. Colors black white and a brick red. If you need some more info PM me. I'm in BC

Kimberly, was surfing around and found a supplier of UVR thread, John Boyle Inc. They have some Canadian distributors and I would think you may be able to get the thread from one of them. Hi Kim, I have found a site that offers bonded nylon thread for $22 per pound and only has a $35 minimum order. It is called A Plus and the thread is called CB-69 or something like that. |
