OklahomaNana:

Thanks a million for the address. Have to agree with you on all the "modern inconveniences" as my brother calls them. I try to put me on restriction but it doesn't last long. lol I have had these blocks done but had to wait until my son came to take the pictures. Haven't done July or August yet so guess I need to get busy on those.

Thanks again.

Jo is having problems with her computer. Right now she is fighting with a dial up service. She wants hi speed. She has received all your photos and will be back online as soon as possible.

Thank you Mary. Sorry for Jo's computer problems and there surely is no rush on the photos. Moving is stressful enough and not having your computer can certainly add to it. Hope she gets it cleared soon.

Hi everyone  I am back with high speed, there was a problem with fibre optics in this area but is all fixed now.

I am all moved in and enjoying it. I have uploaded the block pictures that Lyn, Donna M., Clara and Dorene sent me. Magot, I sent you an email on yours.

I will try my hardest to get the last section done so everyone can get their quilts done for xmas.

Joanne, So happy to hear you are finally moved! That is a chore isn't? I dislike it very much, but we do what we must do when it comes our time to move. When we move, I am always ready to give away fabric, tupperware, crafts to lighten our move for us! I say to myself why did I buy so much stuff! LOL! Then I nickel and dime it in a garage sale to get rid of it quick to keep from packing it.
Thanks for posting my pics too~ I will send you a finished pic of my house quilts after I get them quilted! they go to the quilters in 2 weeks~ I did them in black sashings with white, yellow and green borders. Hope my recipents like them!

"Interesting" 'eh? - that is one of those phrases that can be either good or bad... still it goes with the rest of my blocks.

Thanks Joanne, just in case anyone is confused I went to the Eden Project in Cornwall in the summer which has geodesic domes containing tropical and subtropical environments. The banana plants were HUGE. It is the nearest I will ever get to a Madagascan tropical rain forest.

Some of you did boats, I did banana plants.

Joanne, Glad to see my second pic came through to you on the houses.
The reason I chose white as my first frame was I do not know. LOL~ It just looked right I guess, But the reason I did choose yellow and green as the next two borders around them was because I wanted Sunshine around the houses and lots of green grass. Not that in Oklahoma you can keep your grass this green or anything. :bluesmile It is a tone on tone green with tiny flowers on it.
Do you have ideas going for next year for sewing here? Just curious.
I want to thank you for all you have taught me this year about quilting~ HST's and attic windows I would of stayed away from for a bit longer if you had not gotten us to do them. I am sure there are others out there that feel the same as me on these or different blocks we have done. I have done more applique too.
Take care~
