I was cruising the net and found a nifty vest idea on line, not the pattern but what do do with it to make it snazzier. Now I can;t find it (sigh) I am hoping someone has also seen this pattern and ccould direct me back to it. You start this idea by cutting out the vest pieces an little larger that you will want to end up out of both black fleece and a fashion/cotton fabric. The one shown was a gradation of colors. Using a double needle, you stitch a pattern. The one shown was connected hexagons. Then you carefully snip out the hexagons leaving a little fleece on either side of the double stitching, to reveal the fashion fabric. You then line it and bind it and add a frog typr closure. Obviously I could do this on my own but why reinvent the wheel if you don;t have to? If someone could help me I would be very grateful. MaryAnne MaryAnne

No, but added it to my list of to do's. I do have fabric for 3 vests to make this winter and haven't decided how to do them yet. Let me know if you find the one you want. *~*~*~* Nancy*~*~*~* " I try to take one day at a time - but sometimes several days attack me at once."

Did you check back through your history on your computer and see if you could find it that way?? If you don't delete your history every day, it may take a bit of scouting but the site should be there. Good luck!!

That's really cute, I think I have just the pattern for it and the fabric. It will be fun to make myself something for a change.
