i am looking for an easy cocoon coat pattern online. does anyone know of any? i am a begginer, and have heard that a cocoon coat is a good item of clothing to start with because it is easy and doesn't require much fabric! if you know of any please let me know! i would greatly appreciate it!!!

I think there is one right here on Sew What's New.
I think that is where I got one. If not PM me and I can send you a copy of one I got on line.
I haven't used this particular pattern. I did make a cocoon wrap out of burned out velvet for my daughter. I used a pattern in a book I have. It is beautiful and easy to make. And they are certainly in style again. You can use fleece for warm, something like I did for more formal wear or anything in between.
