Well, I am determined to do a swap so that I can participate in the Christmas Stocking swap, so I have been racking my brain to come up with an idea for a swap that I could actually start. I don't quilt, at least not well, but I do make a lot of little girl's clothing. A few months ago I made a cute little outfit for my daughter from colorful bandanas that I purchased at Wal-Mart. I used 3 bandanas for the outfit (she's 7 and wears a size 4 waist and 7 height). I created a set of capris using two different prints of blue and the top was made with a pink bandana. I need to get a picture of it. Anyway, I was thinking, bandanas can be used for any number of things, including quilting and they are very inexpensive. I wanted to see if anyone would be interested in doing a bandana swap. I think it would be easiest for each person participating to purchase one style/color bandana for everyone else who is paritcipating. I am new to this so any suggestions are more than welcome!! Please be honest if you think this is a bad idea. Thanks, Charity |

Not sure what I'd do with bandanas but if there are enough of us I'm willing to help you out so you can do the Christmas stocking swap.
