Welcome. I am pretty new myself. I love the ideas and the help you get on this site. There is new stuff every day, unlike a lot of other sewing sites!

Welcome - EH! Did you know there is another porcupine in Saskatchewan, Porcupine Plain. Who'da thought that someone would name a town after a porcupine???? Only one warning, this place is addictive!!! But you'll love it.

Hi, Jo-Anne! Welcome! I've never heard of Porcupine, Ontario... but I live on Porcupine Road in Flagstaff, Az! So does that make us cousins? Anyway, glad to see you here, lots of good discussions and comaraderie among us stitchers!

Welcome Jo-Anne! I am also a fellow Ontarian. My husband and I visited Timmins last fall (beautiful place) and drove through Porcupine. We truly love Northern Ontario, having visited Sault Ste Marie, Timmins, etc., but one of our most favourable trips was to Moosonee (James Bay). I am from Gloucester (East of Ottawa).

As others have said, this is a wonderful sight where you can find much help, and whatever you may need. I enjoy the discussions, and always find something there. I too am a Gramma with two granddaughters that I love sewing for.
