I think Im figuring out this forum thing. If you cant tell, Im not much of a computer person, so Im learning the computer as I learn how to work my embroidery machine. I Have the Babylock esante, which on its own is ok, Im figuring that out. My problem seems to be with the software program I have. Its the Palette 6.0 and I have the Melco lettering. I want to add some fonts and I have no problem finding free fonts online. What I cant figure out is how to convert from a jef format to a pes format or if that is even possible. I really dont know many people who do embroidery so Im at a loss of who to ask. Then I stumbled upon this site and I thought I would give it a try. If anyone has any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to anyone who may be able to help. |

Welcome to the board! I actually have the jef format for my embroidery software. So far, I just download free designs in the format that works with my machine. However, I think you have to have special digitizing software to change the formats, but I'm not 100% certain on this. I know for a fact that there are many knowledgeable ladies here and I'm sure somebody will be along who can give you a more detailed (and correct!) answer than I can. Happy Sewing! |

The Amazing Box will also convert fonts and designs into different formats. I do believe that your software will convert it for you also. Check with your dealer for some lessons in PE Design. Happy Stitching!
It takes one moment to change a life.
