This is the first I've seen of my computer since 9/22 when I asked for advise on the 'foil' fabric. You were all so kind and helpful, I really do appreciate it. the fabric is a knit...and I had not even wondered about durability...so thanks for bringing that to my attention. I was bought for a costume that didn't happen....it is cold here on Halloween, but maybe it can be used for trim on a costume......I did like that t-shirt skirt idea though Sounds like sleepwear fabrics have not changed so much as I had thought. Guess I'll stick with as least a majority of cotton in the fabric. |

I've used it in Christmas dresses with velvet. It is in the lame family. I really think it is kind of fun to sew compared to some of the lame fabrics but it tends to sometimes stick to itself. The shiny part will rub off when it is exposed to rubbing after a while (like under the arms or any other place where there is a rubbing motion). It would make a better skirt than a top of a two part pattern.
