Just in case you haven't gone back to the old thread I decided to do another one.

Well I went to the fair yesterday and purchased...drum roll please! ....A previously owned Pfaff 7570 sew & embroidery machine with original accessaries and manuals, extra big hoop, 1/4" foot, creative fantasy 1 software, an amazing box with blank card, and full Pfaff warranty and first year free servicing for $2080. Now, I know I said that I was just going to purchase a sew only machine. But, after sitting down and taking it for a spin I just couldn't resist. Plus the dealer is in my area and it was one that I had just visited last week and talked to the instructor who by the way was very very nice. I know you all will be honest with me, so, how did I do? I have seen this on ebay for a little cheaper, however, I am getting a warranty plus dealer support.

Any Pfaff 7570 owner's out there? How do you like your machine?

Can't wait to start learning my new machine!!!!!

Any machine with warranty and dealer support is worth it money wise as far as I'm concerned! Hope you enjoy your machine. I don't own a Pfaff so can't give you any info-sorry.

Hey, I agree that warranty and dealer support is very important. I was just curious about the "original" new price and how old the machine is. Frankly, sounds like a decent deal to me based upon what you acquired with it. If it sews great and you are comfortable and it sounds like you are! Go with it and don't look back. I don't believe in the buyer's remorse once I make a buying decision and knowing my reasons for doing so......enjoy the new machine and post pictures of your projects!

Yeah!

Hello everyone and thanks for all of your support!

As SandyGirl has said, I am having a little buyer's remorse. I guess I jumped at the deal because I was excited about getting a machine that was at some point one of Pfaff's top of the lines. To answer your question Sandygirl, the machine I believe is about 4 years old and the MSRP when new was $3999 and I did find it in New Hampshire online used for $1399 (which is another tough pill to swallow). But, I live in Southern California where everything is always priced so high and I do need alot of support from the dealer. At the time I thought the deal was sweet because it had almost all of the stitches that the Pfaff's 2056 top of the line sewing machine had (which was $2499 new) plus the embroidery module plus warranty. I guess I thought I better not pass it up because I may not see it again.

I'm sure that after this initial phase I'm going to enjoy my new machine especially after having classes on how to use it. Already tried to figure out what I can make so that the machine can pay itself off. However, if within 30 days I find that we are not a perfect match, I can exchange it although at that point it would probably only be for a sew only machine because I can't afford regularly priced sew and embroidery machines. With this in mind I don't know. We'll just have to see! Hopefully, this feeling will blow over with more bonding with my machine. So far, I haven't been able to play. I have to make some additional purchases such as fabric, thread, and things of that sort.

Thanks again you guys!

Sounds like a great deal to me too...it's always best to buy from a dealer and if you really LIKE your dealer, so much the better. ( I love mine...she's THE best). Best thing about new machines is playing and having fun with all the new gadgets !!! Congratulations !!! :bg:

Thank you all so very much for all of the encouragement!!

Today I also went to the dealer to buy a wheel tote to carry it to class which is on Oct. 21st. I wish that I didn't have to wait so long, but, they offer so many other classes throughout the month that the days get tied up very quickly. So, in the meantime, I bought some fabric and thread and I'll see how far I can get on my own (with the owner's manual of course) . I think that once I get my first lesson out of the way then I can try to take one of their basic sewing classes etc and keep scheduling to take the other class over and over untill I master it!

I guess the blues must be fading!!! I'm feeling a little better.

Thanks again you guys!
