Hi Poohfan. Welcome to SWN. Have you tried a search on line for chair pillows or round seat cushions? Maybe someone here has made some and will have some better ideas for you. Wanted to welcome you though. You'll find lots of great information & friendly faces here.

Are you wanting to make round cushions for like kitchen chairs or what? With a box edge or just a regular cushion ? Have you checked out Simplicity, Butterrick & so on patterns ? Sometimes you can find a pattern at garage sales or the Goodwill & etc stores. They are also easy to make your own pattern. Also have you looked on the enternet? Sometimes you can find free patterns. Good luck to you.

Hi Poohfan, and welcome aboard!

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for but the sewing.org website has a pattern for seat cushions:
http://www.sewing.org/enthusiast/html/ehd_patioseatcovers.html
They also have several pillow patterns:

Hope this helps and Happy Sewing!

Thank you all very much, very helpful hints and yes, the pillows are seat cushions for a bistro set (2 chairs). I have bought two 14 in pillow forms but someone suggested I still get a pattern before starting.
