Hello you fabulous sewers!!! Wow just found out about this site yesterday and spent sometime reading your posts and comments...how wonderful this place is! I have a feeling I'll be spending a lot of free time on this site. Well I’ve been sewing since I was a teenager but really only been a seasonal sewer....Halloween is a big time at my house. Well next week I’m getting ready to buy a Bernina sewing machine and a serger! I’m so excited I can’t see straight. Now I’m debating on getting a Juki serger, a BabyLock or a Bernina Serger. Funny, I just read misstwoshoes question about sergers...so not to repeat the question...just wanted to say hello.

Hi gstitchrex! Noticed you were from Ventura, love your city! We took a motorbike trip down to Camarillo last October, it was awesome. Welcome to the site, and I know you will have so much fun with your new machines!!

Welcome to our sewing site gstitchrex! I'm a native Californian, born and raised in the SF Bay Area. Drove through Ventura a long time ago and found it be a nice place. I've since moved to the frozen tundra area of NY state, outside Buffalo. Been here for only 5 yrs, but I find I do miss my CA winters as well as my mom and my son!

I hope you will find a lot of good suggestions here, and we'll be looking forward to seeing and hearing about your new machines and your creations. Take care and visit often!
