argh! I am trying to do a 2 yarn blanket stitch around a knit blanket and I am having a heck of a time getting it even and looking right. Does this just take practice or is there a trick to it that I am not getting? It looks like a 3 yr old was doing it!

It does take a little practice. It comes naturally after a little while. Do you have some of that old computer paper with the holes on the side|? That could be used as a guide.
