I just got home from a great quilt show. There was over 300 quilts. It was amazing. There was a redwood quilt there that was just beautiful. I guess I will have to make one.

Sorry, it should have been redwork. I shouldn't type and talk on the phone at the same time.

Ok I'll bite! What's a redwork quilt? I'm not a quilter yet, thinking about starting a rag quilt after seeing the posts here about them.

Hi Carolyn,

Was the show in T.C.? Who puts the show on? I would like to attend a large quilt show sometime. That should inspire you to sew. :bluesmile

Here is one site that tells about Redwork Quilts, I know that there are many, many more. I didn't know what they where until someone here told me.

I wondered too what redwork was. I was looking at an embroidery disk for my machine that was redwork and was a bit stumped as to what it was for. Now I know!

Carolyn,

Do they have this quilt show every year? If so, I would like to plan on going next year. Is there a website to see it online? I can't imagine that many quilts in one place.
