I was oiling my sewing machines and when it came to my Ellure... I could not find one thing on oiling it ...Cleaning it... but no instructions on oiling it...does anyone have an Ellure and do you oil it ...I am sure you oil it like any other ...but I want to be on the safe side and ask...I should have called my dealer but forgot...

I've found that on the new machines you take it in for service you don't OIL anything. You keep the bobbin race cleaned out (canned air) keep thread out of the tension discs and keep it serviced at least once a yr.
(Janomes have a 'wick' under the bobbin race that we can oil, IF it ever gets dry, other than that...service is required.)
