| We should all be ashamed for whining when there is always someone out there getting on with life and making quilts! There was a neighbor when I was young that made quilts and her hands were so badly misshapen from RA that you wouldn't have thought she could do anything. She made postage stamp quilts into her 80's with bad hands and bad eye sight. What a wonderful story. Thanks for sharing. |

Yes Deb, thank you. It's nice to know someone has the same view as myself. He makes me feel lazy. I only have to think back to my Mom to know I have it so easy. When she was my age she had to go out to work for the first time in her life, get her drivers license and she had two teenage boys to raise.

Yay Mr. Winter...!!! I was an art major...I found out we had a color blind person in my painting class, the teacher didn't know till I pointed it out. She just thought he LIKED the color blue...for everything. He didn't realize either...at 15. I LOVE color..you should see what I bought today...swirled rainbows !

Hey Mary~ Thanks for sharing this article!! My Uncle lives in the next township over from this guy! I will have to ask and see if he knows of him. My Aunt is a quilter as well.....maybe she can take in the sale and give me some details! I will have to check into this one! mgf~
