Hi, everyone- I'm using a new sloper as my base for a computer designes blouse. I've made a muslin and noticed that there is a small fold of fabric at the center of the neckline. This is a pullover top that I want to make in a silk noil. Any ideas how I can correct this problem? Janet |

I love silk noil, very nice to work with. Hmm, your neckline needs to narrow. Why not fold out the excess to the wrong side on your muslin and draw a new neckline. Does that sound sensible?

Is it just at the neckline or does it go lower into the upper chest. If the latter, you need to do the narrow chest alteration on your muslin. Do you have Fit For Real People? It's the best and most thorough. nancy |

Thank you both for your responses. I think I'd better work on my pattern a little bit before cutting the silk. Janet |
