I am just learning to sew, however it is my 5th daughters first Christmas and I really want a smocked Christmas dress,........Can anyone one here do that??? Anyone in Canada is great but Nova Scotia or New Brunswick would be even better!!!! Are you looking for someone to make the dress? I would go to a local fabric store and ask if they know anyone or find out who teaches the smocking classes  good luck Jeanette

That is Nonie's site and she knows all there is to know about smocking and she likely knows who does it. It reallly is not difficult to learn and is enjoyable! I had seven children and I can appreciate how rushed you must be right now before Christmas! www.everythingsewing.com Marilynntex

Sorry I just found this message. My old computer crashed and that was it,it was a gonner. I have missed being able to check in and see how all of you are doing. I hope you have been able to get to the site and get some smocking help. Nonie |
