Well, after four years of residing in Houston, I finally got to go to the Quilt Show! My neighbour and I went on Saturday...for the whole day! We got there around 10:00am(when it opened) and stayed until closing at 7:00pm. Nine hours is not enough! Wow, the quilts on show are amazing...at times I felt inspired, but more often, I felt totally inept! I didn't get to visit all of the vender booths but it was fun trying. We did meet Eleanor Burns at her booth and had a picture taken with her. It was a lot of fun! If only I had a money tree... Take care,

Donna, a bunch of us went to that show a few years back. It was unbelieveable. Aren't those quilts something, just amazing. One day is not enough. Did you see the Bernina Fashion Show, I missed it when I went. I have another friend Julie from Timmel Fabrics. She went as well. It is quite the show.

I saw a little of the fashion show, but to be honest, it wasn't a priority with me. Time was running out, and I wanted to see what the vendors were hawking.
Take care,

Those booths, they make you want to buy everything. I loved it all.

I think the show is 4 full days(Thursday-Sunday) with a preview on Wednesday. I didn't buy anything...I ran out of time! I saw lots of things of interest, but I wanted to visit all of the booths before deciding. My husband was very happy to learn that my strategy backfired on me. Take care,
