Of course Simply Quilts for obvious reasons. I watch a few other quilting shows, but I still like SQ the best.

I like "House". And "24". Mainly because those are the only shows hubby likes to watch with me. (besides Hannity and Colmes) We used to watch "Monk" each week. What happened to that show?

Sometimes I get to see "Oprah" and "Dr. Phil", depending on how busy I am that week. I would Tivo them, but I'd never find time to watch them then. Too many Simply Quilts and Quilt in a Day shows to catch up on.

My favorite now is "Desperate Housewives". I can relate to Lynette and her out of control household. I also like Bree.
My SIL calls me every week to see if I watched the latest episode.

Hee hee...I watch all the Law and Order shows. Medium, LOST (LOVE IT !),
CSI (Las Vegas only), ER. Seventh Heaven ( I know...for a woman who has no kids why would I get sucked in to watching a show watching KIDS grow up, for the last 10 yrs.)
Extreme Homes, (this comming sunday is my home town of Fairlfield, CA, my in-laws still live there and were watching the making of it....I can't wait to see it).
Crossing Jordan.

My husband is a Survivor watcher and sometimes I watch too...(I get sucked into that too....like watching football. I won't turn it on, but if someone else does I watch and yell at the t.v....I grew up with a mother and grandmother who faithfully watched football and we would ALL yell at the t.v....)

I watch Oprah, sometimes....and Jeopardy EVERYDAY ! (and yes I yell at the t.v....I LIKE them to know -I- know the answers too :dave: )

I LOVE t.v.....it kept me company as a kid and it does now too...

I would watch Midsomer Murders, but A&E put it on the Biography Channel and we don't get that....made me and many others mad...so maybe I'll have to buy the DVD's to get the show...::heavy sigh::

My very favorite show is the Daily Show. I usually record it every night.
I like the West Wing and all the Law and Orders.
Mostly I watch old movies.
Often I will waste half an hour with a situation comedy.
That's about it.

These are my favourite Canadian shows: Regional Contact (an Ottawa based show), Cityline (Around the House and Home Day episodes), Corner Gas (comedy).

Other favourites are all the CSI shows, Without a Trace, Gray's Anatomy, Survivor, Amazing Race, Extreme Makeover Home Edition, Medium, and any LPGA, PGA or CPGA Golf event.

I also like watching these but a little less now...guess I've gotten overloaded watching them: Trading Spaces, What Not to Wear, Clean Sweep.

As I work during the day, these are the ones I have to tape in order to see them: Sewing with Nancy, Simply Quilts, Fons and Porter.

I like ER; I've been watching it since the beginning, I'm addicted.

Desperate Housewives: no thinking required and they make me laugh.

The Apprentice (both of them). I find it gives the younger generation a good reality check, it also gives them a good dose of humility (I hope).

I used to watched all the decorating show I could put my little hands on but have now slowed down quite a bit. I also enjoy Oprah when I get a day off.

I slowed down quite a bit on my TV watching. I now like to entertain myself.

I watch Desperate Housewives, Lost, Medium, Las Vegas, Biggest Loser, Survivor, Boston Legal, Greys Anatomy and some HGTV. I also like some of the BBC shows. I have watched House and the one where they rebuild people's houses. My dh likes any of the financial shows, and golf and football. We usually watch TV in seperate rooms. I also tried to get into the new alien shows, Surface, Threshold and the other one, can't remember the name of it. What's with all the alien stuff on anyway? I don't watch any situation comedys right now. dh will have Two and a half men and Hope and Faith on sometimes when I'm in the room on the computer. I half listen to those. I don't quilt right now so those don't interest me at the moment. oh yeah Dr. Phil and Oprah! Like those two. Sometimes if nothing else is on I'll watch Ellen. Sounds like that's all I do is watch TV but I'm either sewing or crocheting at the same time so it's very productive time!! LOL

I love to watch Biography and sometimes Dr. Phil. That's about it for me. Hubby would watch Law & Order and CSI until the cows come home.

Prime Time TV shows - CSI (Original & NY, not Miami), Without A Trace, Criminal Minds, Cold Case Files, NCIS, House, Law & Order (SVU & CI too). Other then that I usually love the Discovery - A&E stations with 48 Hours, Dr G Medical Examiner, Untold Stories of the ER, etc. Also like DIY & HGTV from time to time, Flip that House, Buy Me, Designed To Sell, Bathroom Renovation, Kitchen Renovation, etc. And I love old movies in-between when DH & DD's aren't watching a TV! :bluesmile

Anybody watch Coronation Street? My mom used to watch it when I was little and I hated it, just the sound of the music made me cringe for years. When I got to be about 30 I started watching it and became hooked. It is funny because my sister who lives in another city started watching it around the same time as me and we didn't realize it for a few months. I love it.
I also like Lost, The Apprentice, Survivor, The Amazing Race and I'm a big fan of a lot of British shows: Rosemary and Thyme, Heartbeat, Jack Frost, and a few police shows I can't remember their names.

I LOVE watching British comedies...but theres one I haven't seen in yrs. ( I saw it in CA) and I can't find anyone who knows about it...All I remember is, it was about a vicarage, an old vicar and a young one (very cute, dark hair BIG red cheeks and really pretty white skin....)The one I remember seeing was about a funeral, I remember laughing till I cried. I only got to see a couple of'em, cause we moved and the PBS stations don't always carry the same things from state to state....

ANYONE have an idea what the name of the show was ???

I also forgot NCIS, Without a Trace and Cold Case

(yep there IS a theme to my t.v. watching...cops and law... :bluewink: )

Well since I have never seen all these shows you all talk about I may have to give them a try. Basically I am not a tv watcher, but the shows I do enjoy are Ghost Hunters on Sci-Fi, American Chopper on Discovery. I watch Monk on USA with mom, at first I didn't like the show, then after watching it for a while I got into it. We always have Turner Classic Movies on, mom likes them, and I have gotten into quite a few of these movies. The 2 stations I will watch when I am able are Sci-Fi and Discovery. One of my favorites was The Deadlist Catch, I was amazed what these fisherman went through to give everyone crabs to eat. It was just a spellbound for me.

Grey's anatomy is my favorite right now. The CSI's I like, I'm bored with ER. I can't find any sewing shows on TV any where. I think we may get Sewing with Nancy at 5 am on Fridays. Other than that, we do rent tons of movies. DH watches TV lots more than me, I will sit and knit or do hand sewing in the same room, but don't usually have a clue whats on, besides, if he had his way, all he'd watch is car/bike shows and the space channel!

I like Monk too! Maybe because I can see people I know in his OCD's.
Anyhow - fave at the moment is Dr Who - though his Ninth incarnation is now dead and we are waiting for David Tenant as no 10 at Christmas.
Morse is fantastic, and I am getting into Frost more.

Don't watch TV much - this seasons "Must watches " are Grand Designs (a house building thing), Scrapheap Challenge and Strictly Come Dancing.
Mostly we use the TV for watching DVD's - just bought Sin City ( where Bruce Willis gets beat up, again) and the last Star Wars.......

I prefer comedy shows. There is enough news of the world to get anyone depressed so I  like the humor. My favorite show right now is Two and a Half Men.

I don't really watch tv much, I can't ever seem to watch a specific show for any thength of time, because of my hectic work schedule. I do try to catch Simply Quilts, Sew Much More, and The Carol DUvall shows when I can. I used to watch Trading Spaces and While You Were Out but there's always something else I need to do. My husband started watching Supernatural and I like that. Also we both were into watching the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) I used to watch wrestiling, but it has turned into an action version of a soap opera, same story different people. He really likes Boxing but I find that very boring, so UFC is what I'm into now. There are a lot of other shows that I would like to watch, I just don't have the time.
