I finally got my computer working again and got a picture scanned of my kids from my friends wedding on Ocober 22nd. The dress that my daughter is wearing I made from a Simplicity pattern. I altered the sleeves though, the dress wasn't meant to have long sleeves, and these are actually seperate from the dress. I made the ring bearer box that my son is holding, as well as the flower basket and the flower 'crown' on my daughter's head. I had made another dress but the little girl that was meant to wear it was unable to take part in the wedding. Anyway, I just wanted to show off my beautiful kids. Here is the link to see the picture. http://www.geocities.com/jayde778/wedding.html Charity |

Oh the kids had all kinds of fun, me, well I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off, on top of making all those things (and the ones I listed may have been half the stuff I made for the wedding) I was also the photographer, music organizer, co-coordinator, decorator, and crazy woman of the wedding. I enjoyed the wedding, but I am SOOO grateful that it is over!! Thanks for looking at the picture though, I hope to get more wedding photos up and show them off if the bride doesn't mind. Charity |

They look great and like they are having so much fun. The dress is lovely, I like the way you did the sleeves, are they attached to the dress??

The sleeves are seperate from the dress, they just slide up the arms once I got the dress on her. The only shoes she had were white or black and the bride was going with off-white not actual white so we decided to let her go barefoot. It looked absolutely adorable. I added a couple more pictures. I asked the bride if I could show off all her wedding pictures (once I get them on a page that is) and she said I could. So I will let everyone know when I get them up. |
