Hey everyone. I want to say I'm sorry for not being around the last few days. I have had one awful head cold. Fever, chills, aches, nasty cough, stuffed up etc, etc, etc. I get sick about once every five yrs. I guess this is my time.

Anyway, hopefully I will be back soon. Thanks for holding down the fort in the mean time.

Take care....stay warm...eat chicken soup (and chocolate if you crave it :bluewink: )...rest up...

Try having 4 ferrets with colds....yep...my husband brought a cold home from WORK and all the ferrets got it at the same time...if only they didn't have such wet sneezes and sneeze on ME all the time. :bg: :bg: :bg:
(hopefully - I - will not get it...I keep holding my breath, but I keep turning blue :whacky: )

Mary,
Old movies -- that's what works for me if I'm really feeling crummy. Especially Black & White mystery/dramas. I can doze thru them and wake now and then, rewind and start over if I get to feeling well enough to focus. Bundle up under a nice warm comforter with tissue box nearby, a nice cup of steaming hot tea, and if you're really lucky, a furry warm cat to cuddle up next to.

Hope you're feeling better soon!

Judy, Judy, Judy, the word you were looking for is Quilt ... not comforter.

Mary, just rest, drink lots of liquids etc etc etc. You know the drill. Pretend you have a man's cold and get everybody else in the house to do everything for you (I'm sorry, I couldn't help it).

Good advice. Thanks but I'm ok now. I really despise being sick.

Hey M -

hope you are feeling better - I really don't think anyone enjoys being sick as well. It sure sucks, doesn't it. Take it easy, though!
