Has anyone made embroidered cards.? I'd like to try it on my Deco for Christmas cards. Do you need special card stock ? What keeps the thing from disintegrating ? Lise ![]() |

I think the key is a light design as opposed to a dense one. If you have a dense design you want to use, you could do it on fabric, then glue it on the back of the card with a cutout in front of it. There are some instructions for a couple of different ways here: http://www.emblibrary.com/EL/projectinstructions.aspx Scroll down to "cards" photos.yahoo.com/greendragondesigns

Thank you for the speedy reply. The hooping bit looks a bit too finicky for me but using three part cards and inserting embroidery on fabric would be do-able. Lise ![]() |
