It was my daughter's drum major dress a year ago. Hers was the view with the collar down the back..not the flower. I didn't make the skirt, I decided to go with a long a-line because it wouldn't blow in the wind (split) and she would have an easier time climbing the ladder to the platform. What kind of trouble are you having? The basic top is a princess. I had a lot of trouble getting it to fit her well which was a problem because of the way the peplum fit at the bottom. Get the best fit you can before you add that peplum and band. pam
